Yoga Offerings

Mindful Monday Practice – 6:00 a.m. EST

This class is a great way to start off the week. By focusing on gentle movement as you flow from posture to posture, linking movement with breath and meditation this class will bring about a since of mindfulness to start out your week. You will explore sitting, standing, kneeling, supine, prone, and balancing postures to support overall wellness in the mind/body. Tools that can be used for this class include but are not limited to Yoga Mat, Blocks, Strap, Bolster, Pillows, Eye Pillow, Rolled Up Towels, and Blanket. 

Monday Absolute Chair – 11:00 a.m. EST

In this gentle class a chair is used in all postures and is designed for individuals that have limited mobility. Donna offers deep, rhythmic breathing accompanied by simple stretches, and meditation in a safe and comfortable seat. When the mind quiets down and your body moves with breath and intention harmony and well-being are naturally restored.  Tools that will be used in this class are a Chair (preferably with no arms), Yoga Blocks and a Strap.

Monday Bedtime Yin – 6:00 p.m. EST

Enjoy the feelings of rejuvenation and steadiness that arise from a Yin Yoga practice. In Yin the sensation of release that you feel are from the deep connective tissues and the joints. This is achieved by staying in each posture for 1-5 minutes. As you slow down, move from noise to silence, from agitation to calm, from complexity to simplicity; balance is restored between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system.  Tools that can be used for this class include but are not limited to Yoga Mat, Blocks, Strap, Bolster, Pillows, Eye Pillow, Rolled Up Towels, and Blanket. 

Wednesday Rise and Shine Yoga - 6:00 a.m. EST

Roll out of bed and onto your mat. This class is an amazing way to awaken your body after a long night’s sleep and provide a mid-week reset for the body, mind and soul. During this class you will lengthen and open your body with gentle stretching postures and set your intention to carry you through the rest of your week.  Tools that can be used for this class include but are not limited to Yoga Mat, Blocks, Strap, Bolster, Pillows, Eye Pillow, Rolled Up Towels, and Blanket.

Wednesday Chair Fitness – 11:00 a.m. EST

Get fit where you sit. This class combines chair yoga stretches with light weights and band training. This class is great for improving your strength, flexibility, blood circulation and will boost your mood.   Tools that will be used in this class are a Chair (preferably with no arms) and Two Light Weights (preferably no more than 5lbs).

Wednesday Moon Salutations – 6:00 p.m. EST

In this class you will experience a series of poses known as Moon Salutations or Chandra Namaskara.  This sequence creates a cooling and flowing movement in the body.  Moon Salutations aides you in channeling the energy of the moon which cools and relaxes the body while promoting your creative qualities.  Tools that can be used for this class include but are not limited to Yoga Mat, Blocks, Strap, Bolster, Pillows, Eye Pillow, Rolled Up Towels, and Blanket.

Friday Salute The Sun – 6:00 a.m. EST
In this class you will experience a series of poses known as Sun Salutations or Namaskar A & B. This sequence builds heat in the body allowing for improved blood flow, prevents fatigue, and promotes a calming stillness in the mind/body.  Tools that can be used for this class include but are not limited to Yoga Mat, Blocks, Strap, Bolster, Pillows, Eye Pillow, Rolled Up Towels, and Blanket.

Friday Double Chair Yin Yoga – 11:00 a.m. EST

In this class you will be using a second chair for all the postures. This is a slow class as each posture will be held for 1-5 minutes releasing the deep connective tissues within the body. As you slow down with this gentle, mellow and restorative practice; balance is restored between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system creating a calming stillness in the mind/body. Tools that will be used in this class are Two Chairs (preferably with no arms and same height), Yoga Blocks or Rolled Up Towels and a Strap.

Yin/Yang Friday Flow – 6:00 p.m. EST

In this class you will be using a second chair for all the postures. This is a slow class as each posture will be held for 1-5 minutes releasing the deep connective tissues within the body.
