Friday - Double Chair Yin Yoga

In this class you will be using a second chair for all the postures. This is a slow class as each posture will be held for 1-5 minutes releasing the deep connective tissues within the body. As you slow down with this gentle, mellow and restorative practice; balance is restored between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system creating a calming stillness in the mind/body. Tools that will be used in this class are Two Chairs (preferably with no arms and same height), Yoga Blocks or Rolled Up Towels and a Strap.
