Enjoy the feelings of rejuvenation and steadiness that arise from a Yin Yoga practice. In Yin the sensation of release that you feel are from the deep connective tissues and the joints. This is achieved by staying in each posture for 1-5 minutes. As you slow down, move from noise to silence, from agitation to calm, from complexity to simplicity; balance is restored between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system. Tools that can be used for this class include but are not limited to Yoga Mat, Blocks, Strap, Bolster, Pillows, Eye Pillow, Rolled Up Towels, and Blanket.
